Parent & Family Coaching

Lisa is a lifelong educator, leader, and impactful coach who has worked with thousands of children across public and private school systems throughout the U.S. and partnered closely with hundreds of families navigating the realities of raising kids in Chicago.

As a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer, she has created coaching programs, collaborated with leading organizations, and spent her career helping adults support children with clarity, confidence, and care.

Lisa’s coaching model is experiential, collaborative, and responsive. Her mission is to engage parents in discovering their unique path to connect with their children, empowering them to develop key life skills, values, and 21st-century leadership competencies.

I attended a six-week Positive Parenting course with Lisa. She had valuable resources that I could put to use with my children right away (and I noticed positive results!). Her presentation style is very welcoming and nonjudgmental. I highly recommend working with Lisa to learn more about yourself as a parent and the skills to parent more effectively and harmoniously.

And she does with both levity and grounding. I cannot recommend her enough, and I promise you'll begin to feel better and experience results quickly!

Fall 2026 Offerings

You’re overwhelmed, feeling out of control.

You are exhausted by morning and bedtime hassles, power struggles, tantrums, and screen time battles. You’ve tried time-outs, taking things away, and rewards, and things are not improving. You want things to change but are not sure where to start.

You’re overextended at home and work.

It’s hard to concentrate, let alone be efficient. Burnout is creeping in. Instagram helps temporarily but eventually leaves you feeling more scattered. You wish you had time to go deeper.

You are professionally trained to solve every problem that comes your way and to plan for success.

So why is parenting so hard? You want your child to be a happy, successful adult, and life is moving fast. You’ve ordered the course recordings and picked up a few tips on TikTok. You want a long-term parenting path.

You think everyone else has it together and may even feel judged by others.

The “advice” isn’t helping and the people giving the advice don’t understand your challenges. You crave a space that is judgment free where you can be yourself and connect with people who experience similar challenges.

You are searching for peace of mind.

And someone who sees your strengths and the strengths of your family members, someone who can help you put it all together within a time frame that fits your busy schedule.

“Whenever I walked into a Positive Discipline or Child Development session that was led by Lisa, I knew I would leave feeling validated, heard, and supported.”
